The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) interrogated on Thursday five engineers of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) in connection with graft allegation raised against its former chief engineer Wahidur Rahman, reports UNB.
ACC deputy director Mir Zainul Abedin Shebly questioned them from 2pm to 5pm at the ACC head office, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told the news agency.
The LGED engineers grilled Thursday were assistant engineer Nazrul Islam, superintending engineer Shahidur Rahman Pramanik, additional chief engineer Mohammad Mohsin, project director (CDSP-4) Mohammad Rezaul Karim and upazila engineer Khandaker Assaduzzaman.
