ACC okays filing of case against 2 Rajuk men

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved filing of a case against two employees of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) for their alleged involvement in the embezzlement of Tk 1.0 million (10 lakh).
The commission at a meeting on Thursday decided to file the case against two Rajuk employees, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told the FE.
ACC assistant director Rafiqul Islam probed the graft allegation and recommended filing of the case.
The case will be filed soon against Rajuk electrician Howlader Mahbub Alam and office assistant Rafiqul Islam Shikder.
According to the findings, both the accused collected nearly Tk 1.0 million from developer companies as penalty and signing money and then embezzled the amount.
