ACC okays filing of cases against two Insurance ex-officials

The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) approved Monday filing of two cases against two former officials of an insurance company for their connection with alleged embezzlement of about Tk 3.0 million.
The approval was given at a regular meeting of the Commission, ACC officials said.
The accused were former deputy general manager of City General Insurance Company Limited Sairaz Altaf Shasa and its former assistant manager Fatema Begum.
According to the allegation received by the ACC, Ms Shasa embezzled about Tk 2.32 million and Ms Fatema misappropriated about Tk 0.68 million.  
ACC officials said the cases would be filed soon.
