ACC sues former chief conservator of forests

The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) filed Tuesday a case against former chief conservator of forests Munshi Anwarul Islam for acquiring wealth beyond known sources of his income, reports UNB.
ACC Assistant Director SM Shahidur Rahman filed the First Information Report (FIR) with Ramna police station for allegedly acquiring ill-gotten assets worth over Tk 29 million (2.9 crore), as hunt for the corruption suspects went on under the interim regime.
