ACC sues HBM Iqbal, his wife

A case has been filed against former lawmaker and Awami League (AL) leader HBM Iqbal with Gulshan Police Station, a police officer said Monday, reports bdnews24.com.
Assistant Director of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Md Ibrahim filed the case at 4:00 pm Monday. Iqbal's wife Momtaz Begum has also been accused in the case.
While talking to the news agency, Gulshan thana duty officer Md Jasimuddin said, "In the case details, Iqbal and his wife have been accused of concealing wealth worth Tk 114.30 million (11.43 crore)."
