Accused remanded in Kibria killing case

HABIGANJ, Mar 10 (BSS): Mizanur Rahman Mithu (23), a charge-sheeted accused in former Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria killing case was taken on a seven-day police remand Wednesday.
Habiganj Judicial Magi-strate Court-2 granted the remand on a prayer by assistant superintendent of Police Rafiqul Islam.
Earlier, members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) had arrested Mizanur Rahman from Baro Alipur village of Nabiganj Upazila. He was handed over to Habiganj sadar police station Monday.
Shah AMS Kibria was killed in a grenade attack on January 2005. Three others were killed more than 100 people injured in the attack.
Awami League (AL) leader and incumbent MP Advocate Abdul Mazid Khan filed a case in this connection.
