Actor Helal put on 2-day remand

A Dhaka court placed Tuesday actor Helal Khan on a 2-day remand in an arson case filed with Badda thana, reports UNB.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sabrina Ali passed the order when Abu Jayed Muhammad Najmun Nur, a sub-inspector of Detective Branch (DB) of Police and also the investigation officer of the case, produced him before the court seeking a 10-day remand for him.
Earlier, detectives picked up actor Helel Khan from Judge Court area Monday.
