AL activist shot dead in Jessore

JESSORE, June 4 (UNB): An Awami League (AL) activist was shot dead by unknown gunmen at Kheyaghat area under Avoynagar Upazila Thursday.
Purakhali union AL Organising Secretary Raju (35) was returning home from Noapara bazar at 11.30 pm when the gunmen sprayed bullets on him from a close range leaving him dead on the spot.
