AL-backed panel wins in N\\\'ganj bar election

NARAYANGANJ, Sept 18 (BSS): Awami League (AL) backed Sammilito Ainjibi Samonnoy Parishad panel, led by Advocate Anisur Rahman Dipu and Advocate Hasan Firdouse Jewel, won 13 posts, including president and general secretary, in the election of Narayanganj District Bar Association on Thursday.

BNP- backed Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikya Parishad panel bagged four posts, including entertainment secretary and three member posts.

A total of 34 candidates of the two panels contested for 17 executive committee posts for the year 2015-2016. A total of 799 voters out of 842 cast their votes in the election.
