AL-backed panel wins key posts

KHULNA, Nov 24 (BSS): Awami League- led 14-party alliance-backed Sammilito Ainjibi Samonnay Parishad obtained seven posts including president and general secretary while BNP-led 20-party alliance backed Sarbodoliyo Ainjibi Oikkyo Parishad secured seven posts including one vice president in the annual election of Khulna Bar Association Sunday.

The election was held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Sunday at Khulna Bar Association auditorium.

A total of 1,030 voters out of 1,142 cast their votes. Chairman of the Election Commission Advocate Abdullah Hossain Bacchu announced the results last midnight.
