AL expels 8 activists

BENAPOLE, June 19 (UNB): Eight activists of Awami League (AL) were expelled from the party Saturday on charge of violating party discipline.
Abdul Haque, president of Sharsha Upazila AL, said that eight activists of party's Bahadurpur union in port thana, were expelled for their involvement in terrorism and extortion.
The names of the expelled activists could not be known immediately.
