AL internal clash hurts 10 in Jhenaidah

JHENAIDAH, Feb 13 (UNB): At least 10 people were injured on Tuesday in a factional clash between two groups of the activists of ruling Awami League over establishing supremacy in Ibrahimpur area of Sailakupa in the district.

Officer-in-charge of Sailakupa Police Station Alamgir Hossain said the clash ensued around 9 am between the supporters of Umedpur UP chairman and AL president Sabdar Hossain Molla and Union Shechasebak League president Mizanur Rahman that left 10 people injured.

Police later controlled the situation and held three people from the spot, he said.
