AL leader Kamruzzaman passes away

Bangladesh Awami League (AL) advisory council member M Kamruzzaman passed away at the city's Central Hospital Thursday evening. He was 80, reports UNB.
M Kamruzzaman, a great organiser of the 1971 liberation war, had long been suffering from old age complications, party sources said.
Meanwhile, AL acting president Zillur Rahman and acting general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam condoled the death of the veteran AL leader.
They prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy for the bereaved family.
