The committee formed by Awami League (AL) for holding talks with the Election Commission (EC) about electoral reforms will convene at AL president's Dhanmondi office in the city tomorrow (Thursday) to prepare for the dialogue, reports UNB.
Chairman of the committee Tofail Ahmed will chair the meeting to be held at 11 am on the day.
Member-secretary of the dialogue committee Syed Ashraful Islam has requested all members of the committee to attend the meeting.
The AL has been invited by the EC for the discussion on November 4 as part of the ongoing dialogue with political parties on the EC-proposed reform of the electoral rules and procedures in preparation for fair polls.
