AL must be eradicated, not just banned: Adviser Asif

Local Government Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan has said Awami League should not only be banned but also be completely eradicated for carrying out a genocide, reports UNB.

He was speaking at a youth festival event at Adamjee Cantonment College in the capital on Wednesday.

He told reporters that the party must be eliminated both ideologically and politically through judicial process.

He emphasised that this process should follow legal and social measures, including truth commissions or similar precedents set in other countries.
