AL submits list of candidates for reserved seats to EC

Awami League (AL) submitted on Monday the list of 43 nominated women candidates for the election to the reserved seats in the 11th parliament, report agencies.

A party delegation led by AL general secretary Obaidul Quader submitted the list to the returning officer at the Election Commission Secretariat at Agargaon in the city.

AL Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap and Deputy Office Secretary Biplob Barua, among others, accompanied Obaidul Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister.
