Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud on Friday said BNP is trying to set the stage for another "August 15," when Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and most of his family members were assassinated in 1975, reports UNB.
"Also, they want to brand Bangladesh as a terrorist country in the world. But the Bangladesh Awami League (AL) will never let these things happen," he added.
Hasan, also AL joint general secretary, was addressing a meeting in Mohanpur upazila of Rajshahi.
