Finance Minister AMA Muhith said Wednesday that the government would provide all-out cooperation for development of the physically challenged people in the country.
"We want to do a lot for the physically challenged people, though we have financial constraints," he said addressing the annual cultural and sport competition of Society for the Welfare of the Intellectually Disabled (SWID), Bangladesh, reports UNB.
The finance minister said that he would talk to his Cabinet colleagues in connection with the development programmes of the physically challenged people.
He hailed the role of private sector in the development of physically challenged people. "It was our duty to do that, but the private sector is doing it very well," he said.
