All polls pledges to be met, says Annisul

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayor Annisul Huq reiterated on Thursday that he would implement all his pledges mentioned in the election manifesto and dispel all the negative impression of people about city corporation.

He also announced that all the city corporation activities including waste management, mosquito control, roads repair, installation of street lamps and billboards and revenue collection would be brought under strong vigilance.

Mr Huq was speaking at the first meeting with the city corporation officials and newly elected councillors at the Uttara community centre of DNCC.

DNCC chief executive officer BM Enamul Haque was also present in the meeting. The councillors described various problems of their own wards before the mayor.
