The digital transformation that constantly changes scenarios in the journalism profession has put journalists, especially females under challenges to prove their competency.

Speakers at a ceremony celebrating the 22nd founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nari Sangbadik Kendra (BNSK) on Tuesday observed this, saying that females in the media should overcome the challenges to carry on the successes they have earned so far in the profession.

However, Dr Gitiara Nasreen said digital transformation is not a problem for the females who want to take the challenging journalism profession as a career, as it has created more scopes for them to work flexibly within the managerial capacity.
