Amir Khasru gets bail in 9 out of 10 cases

BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has secured bail in 9 out of 10 cases filed over political violence centering the BNP's Dhaka rally on October 28 last year.

He was denied bail only in one case filed over the attack on the Chief Justice's residence.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Tofazzal Hossain granted bail to Amir Khasru only in one case on Wednesday as bail petitions were submitted in two cases including the one filed over the attack on the CJ's residence.

Lawyers Md Asaduzzaman and Syed Zainul Abedin Mesbah appeared in the court hearing on behalf of the BNP leader.
