Arrest \\\'callers\\\' of making clandestine attacks

Publicity and Publication Secretary of Awami League (AL) Hasan Mahmud demanded on Friday arrest of the persons who called upon people to make clandestine attacks, reports BSS.
Three members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) were suspended following allegation of involvement with the murders of seven persons in Narayanganj. So, the people who publicly talked about making secret attacks should also be arrested, he stressed.
Hasan said this while speaking at a discussion on 'Current Politics' as chief at the Jatiya Press Club. Bangabandhu Academy arranged the discussion which was chaired by Chitta Ranjan Dash, adviser of the Academy.
Hasan said suspension of three RAB officials proved that the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is sincere to ensure punishment to the persons who are responsible for the abduction and killings.
The AL leader, also a former minister said the people who are out to tarnish the image of the present government by resorting to the politics of abduction and killing will be awarded exemplary punishment.
AL central executive parliamentary member Sujit Ray Nondi, Sub-committee assistant secretary Golam Sarwer kabir, Asaduzzaman Durjoy, Samyabadi Dal leader Harun Chowduty and vice president of BCL central committee Tareque Rayhan, among others, also spoke.
