Arrest warrants issued for three war criminals

The International Crimes Tribunal has issued arrest warrants for three in Kishoreganj for crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War, reports bdnews24.com.
The tribunal led by Justice M Enayetur Rahim issued the warrants on Sunday based on a prosecution plea.
The three accused are Kishoreganj Rajakar Commander Gazi Abdul Mannan, Hafiz Uddin and Azharul Islam.
Sultan Mahmud Simon stood for the prosecution in the hearing.
"We found in our preliminary investigation the involvement of the three in killings, looting, arson and torture during the Liberation War. So we have sought their arrest."
"The court heard the plea and issued the warrants."
