Slain writer-blogger Avijit Roy's father has expressed disappointment over the progress of the investigation into the killing of his son, reports bdnews24.com.
He has also once again pointed his finger of suspicion for the murder towards BUET teacher Farseem Mannan Mohammedy.
He also expressed disappointment over the progress of the investigation.
Prof Roy said he 'investigated' the incident himself through 'various sources' and found information about possible involvement of Islami Chhatra Shibir in the killing.
The Dhaka University teacher, speaking at a programme in Dhaka on Friday, said he had collected some information on a Feb 26 meeting at Suhrawardy Udyan premises attended by Avijit and Bonya.
He claimed BUET teacher Farseem had invited his son and daughter-in-law to the meeting.
"I find Farseem Mannan's role questionable. He convened the meeting at Suhrawardy Udyan through Facebook. Four to five of the 11 invited participants there were unwanted persons," he said.
