Bagerhat BNP chief injured in beating

BAGERHAT, Sept 26 (bdnews24.com): Bagerhat district BNP's acting president Shamsul Haque was attacked and injured by party supporters Friday.
He was receiving treatment at Bagerhat Sadar Hospital.
Hospital sources said he had been given a few stitches in the head.
The incident occurred in front of the party office at New Market at 3.00 pm in presence of the party's senior leaders.
Haque came to attend a party meeting there, which was foiled.
