Ban on plying vehicles on April 28

The government has imposed a ban on plying of all modes of vehicle in the three city corporation areas of Dhaka and Chittagong from Monday midnight to Tuesday midnight, reports UNB.

The Road Transport and Highway Division issued a circular in this regard on Sunday.

Deputy secretary Kamrul Ahsan said the ban was clamped on plying of 'baby' taxi, auto-rickshaw, taxicab, human hauler, microbus, jeep, pickup, car, bus, truck and tempo due to the elections to Dhaka South and North and Chittagong city corporations to be held on Tuesday.
