A four-day director general level border talks between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Myanmar's Border Guard Police (BGP) began at Nay Pyi Taw in Myanmar Tuesday morning, reports UNB.
A joint record of discussions (JRD) is expected to be signed tomorrow (Thursday). The talks will conclude on Friday.
BGB Director General Major General Aziz Ahmed is leading an eight-member Bangladesh delegation to the talks while his counterpart, the Chief of Myanmar Police Force, Major General Zaw Win heads the 13-member Myanmar delegation.
