Barisal Polytech student injured in BCL attack

BARISAL, Feb 26: Armed cadres of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) attacked and injured a former student of Barisal Polytechnic Institute in campus over a trifling matter this (Saturday) noon, reports UNB. The victim was identified as Debashish, an employee of a private firm in Dhaka and a former student of the institute. Campus sources said Debashish came to the institute to collect his testimonial at about 12:30pm. A group of BCL cadres, led by Imran Hossain Mishu, publicity secretary of BCL polytechnic unit, called Debashish to meet them immediately.
