Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the students' wing of ruling Awami League, has announced new committees of several city, university, district and upazila units for different tenures, reports BSS.
Chittagong University, Sylhet city, Narayanganj city, Munshiganj district, Narsingdi district, Moulavi-bazar district, Thakurgaon district, Bandarban district, Shariatpur district, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Sirajdikhan Upazila, Sreenagar Upazila, Sreenagar Government College units have got new committees for different tenures, BCL releases said Monday.
Alamgir Tipu and HM Fazle Rabbi Sujan were made president and general secretary respectively of the Chittagong University unit of BCL for one year while Abdul Basit Rumman and Abdul Aleem Tushar were selected as president and general secretary of the Sylhet City unit for one year.
In Narayanganj City unit, Habibur Rahman Riyadh was made convener while Hasnat Rahman Bindu, Nasim Mahmud Tapan and Minhajul Qadir Milan were selected joint-conveners for the convening committee for three months.
Faisal Mridha and Fayez Ahmed Pavel were made president and general secretary respectively of the Munshiganj district unit of BCL for next one-year.
At Sirajdikhan Upazila unit of BCL under Munshiganj district Saikat Mahmud and Parvez Pappu were selected president and general secretary respectively for one year while Azim Hossain Khan and Zakir Hossain Paret were made president and general secretary respectively for the Sreenagar Upazila unit.
Ariful Islam Rabbi and Zahirul Islam Limon were made president and general secretary respectively for the Sreenagar Government College unit of BCL.
For the Narsingdi district unit Kazi Mamun was made convener while Ishak Khalil, Al-Amin, Rakibul Kabir, Yakub Bhuiyan, Koushik Kaikobad Keny and Rehanul Karim Bhuiyan Lelin were selected as joint conveners for next three-month.
Asaduzzaman Rony and Saifur Rahman Rony were made president and general secretary respectively for the Moulvibazar district unit of BCL for next one-year while Md Mohsin Madbar was made convener and Iqbal Hossain Tipu and Rasheduzzaman was selected as joint-convener for the Shariatpur district unit convening committee for next three-month.
