Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) expelled on Monday four of its Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit leaders for their alleged involvement in Sunday's violence on the university campus.
They are Rajib Ahmed, general secretary of JU unit Chhatra League, organising secretary Faisal Hossain, sports affairs secretary Neyamul Hossain and deputy social welfare secretary Bashirul Haque.
Sheikh Russel, office secretary of the BCL central committee, confirmed UNB about the expulsion.
Besides, he said, Rashedul Hasan has been made acting general secretary of JU BCL unit.
