BCL leader Ripon buried, none arrested

JESSORE, Mar 15: The police is yet to arrest the killers of BCL leader Ripon Hossain. BCL brought out a protest procession in the town and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits involved in the murder.
A case was filed with Jessore Kotwali police accusing five Monday morning. The accused are BCL activists Hafiz, Iqbal, Mikail, Selim and Hadi.
Shahidul Islam, father of Ripon filed the case.
Ripon Hossain, 28, Jessore town unit convener of Bangladesh Chhatra League was hacked to death at Bhekutia Bazar on the outskirts of the town Sunday evening following intraparty clashes of two factions of BCL Saturday night.
Ripon was buried at the family graveyard Monday noon after namaj-e-janaza where thousands of people of all walks of life attended.
