BCL leader shot in city

A leader of Suhrawardy College unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was shot and wounded on the college campus in the city Thursday afternoon, police said.
Witnesses said one Kartik came in and opened fire on Gazi Sarwar Hossain Babu (26), general secretary of the student wing of the ruling party, when he was talking with his friends at the library of the college at about 1:00pm.
