BCL leader threatens to \\\'beat up BNP leaders\\\'

Siddiqui Nazmul Alam, general secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), threatened to 'beat up senior BNP leaders', reports bdnews24.com.

A status on his Facebook profile posted Wednesday reads that the response to the attack on MP Chhabi Biswas will come 'within three days'.

"Will beat up senior BNP leaders like stray dogs", reads the post by the general secretary of BCL.

During a clash between BNP and government supporters on Wednesday, ruling party MP from Netrokona Chhabi Biswas was attacked in front of the DMCH.

The attackers set his car on fire and the lawmaker suffered injuries in the head. He is being treated at the DMCH.

According to police and witnesses, BNP supporters attacked him, but the party denied it.
