BCL men hurt two DU journos

Leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) beat up two journalists and a leader of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) on the Dhaka University (DU) campus Sunday.
The injured journalists- DU Reporter of the UNB Saiful Islam Jewel and contributor of the bdnews24.com Shahiduzzaman- were admitted to DU Medical Centre with serious injuries on their backs and heads.
The injured Shibir leader was identified as Jubayer Ahmed. He is the DU Zahurul Haque Hall unit president of ICS. He has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
DU Journalists' Association (DUJA) strongly protested the BCL attack on the two reporters and demanded immediate punishment of those responsible.
