BCL protests appointment of BRGC Principal

RANGPUR, Nov 15 (BSS): Leaders of Awami League (AL) and its associate organisations Sunday strongly protested appointment of Prof Sadek Ali as the Principal of Rangpur Begum Rokeya Government College (BRGC).
They made the protest at a meeting organised by the district unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) at the college gate with its President Biplob Biswas in the chair.
Convener of the district unit of AL and freedom fighter Abul Mansur Ahmed, joint convener Advocate Rezaul Karim Raju and vice-president of the central committee of BCL Jashem bin Hossain Jummon took part in the meeting.
The speakers said Prof Sadek Ali is an associate of Jamaat- Shibir cycle and he cooperated with Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) while serving in Rangpur Carmichael College when they attacked and injured a teacher of RCC on February 6 in 2008.
