Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Abul Kalam Azad said that Bangladesh has now cultural agreements with 38 countries, reports BSS.
The countries are: India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Turkey, the UAE, Malaysia, China, North Korea, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Bahrain, Vietnam, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Zambia, Senegal, Somalia, Zimbabwe, Brazil, Mali, Bulgaria, Hungary, Mongolia, France, Italy, Myanmar and former Soviet Union.
He said this in the House while replying to a question from treasury bench member Shahiduzzaman Sarkar Monday.
