BDR, BSF trade gunfire on Satkhira boder

SATKHIRA, July 21 (UNB): Bangladesh Riffles (BDR) and Border Security Force of India (BSF) exchanged gunfire on Hijoldi border in Kolaroa Upazila Saturday morning.
BDR sources said BSF members of Gonorajpur camp fired four rounds of bullet towards Hijoldi frontier without any provocation. BDR also retaliated by firing several rounds of bullet.
None was injured during the exchange of gunfire. Tension has been prevailing along the border.
The border guards of the two neighbouring countries also exchanged gunfire on Chanduria frontier Friday.
