BDR mutiny Trial of 667 mutineers resumes

Trial of 667 border guards of 24 Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) Battalion and its attached units resumed at its headquarters at Pilkhana in the city Thursday, reports bdnews24.com.
The court started the trial around 9am and cross-examined witnesses 16, 17 and 18. It took testimony of the witness 19 until 12.45pm and adjourned the trial until 9am Saturday.
During the hearing of this case, the special court-7 Wednesday sentenced BDR sepoy Abdul Basit to six months' imprisonment for contempt of court.
