Bijoy Mela begins in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, Dec 31: On the occasion of victory festival a 15- day Bijoy Mela began at Joypurhat stadium from Saturday.
Fisheries Minister Abdul Latif Siddiki inaugurated the fair as the chief guest. Organising Secretary of Awami League Abu Syeed Al Mahamud Shawpon and chief patron of the fair and Deputy Commissioner of Joypurhat Abu Syed Mohammad Hasim were present as special guests.
Momin Ahmed Chowdhury presided over the inaugural function.
At least 100 stalls have been set up at the fair.
