BHOLA, Jan 3 (UNB): Police on Saturday foiled the procession of Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) activists brought out in the district town demanding the withdrawal of a 'false' case against their chairman Andaleeve Rahman Partha.
Witnesses said the BJP men took out the procession from their office in the town in the morning.
However, police obstructed the procession near the Bangla School intersection when they tried to take to the Sadar Road.  Later, the BJP leaders and activists held a rally on their party office premises protesting the police action.
