Blast while 'making bombs' kills man in C'nawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 3 (UNB): A man was killed in an explosion allegedly while making bombs at Mordana Bamunpara village in Shibganj upazila on Friday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Taifur Rahman (40), son of Fazlur Rahman.

Habibur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Shibganj thana, said the blast took place around 1:45 pm while Taifur was making bombs on the rooftop of his brother Saifuddin's house, leaving him critically injured.

He was taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
