The government is 'double-dealing' to take the people's attention away from the opposition's demand of caretaker government to other issues, the BNP spokesperson said Monday, reports bdnews24.com.
"On one hand, [the government] is not allowing opposition's processions and rallies to take place and on the other, the ruling party takes out processions under state patronage. I've heard that they will take out procession on Dec 29. It shows duplicity of the government," acting secretary-general of the party Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said.
He was speaking with journalists while visiting Labour Party chairman Mustafizur Rahman Iran at a city hospital.
