BNP has announced a 10-day programme to observe the Victory Day on December 16, reports UNB. The programme includes observing the Intellectuals Martyr Day today (December 14). Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, convener of the party's Victory Day observance committee announced the programme at the party office Tuesday. BNP leaders and workers and its front and associate organisations led by chairperson Khaleda Zia will place wreath at the Intellectual Martyrs Memorial at Mirpur. Khaleda, accompanied by her followers, will visit the National Mausoleum at Savar on December 16, to pay homage to the fallen heroes of the Liberation War.
