BNP, CBA leaders arrested

SYLHET, Aug 4 (UNB): Police arrested a CBA leader of Chhatak Cement Factory from the factory premises in Sunamganj district Friday afternoon.
The arrested was identified as Enamul Haque (35), assistant general secretary of Collective Bargaining Agent (CBA) and also staff member of mechanical-technical branch of the factory.
Enamul was accused in a number of cases, including extortion and corruption, police said.
Meanwhile, police also arrested Helaluddin (36), a BNP leader, from a house at Naliura in Golapganj Upazila of Sylhet at about 1:00am Friday.
