As part of its ongoing move to overhaul the party, the BNP has appointed three new members to its Chairperson's Advisory Council, reports UNB.
The party announced the decision in a press release, signed by its Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, on Monday.
The newly-appointed members of the advisory council are former Ambassador Sirajul Islam, BNP's International Affairs Secretary Humayun Kabir, and Kurigram district unit party President Tasbirul Islam.
During its sixth council on March 19, 2016, the BNP formed a 502-member National Executive Committee and an 81-member Chairperson's Advisory Council.
