Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said Saturday BNP has now turned into a foreigners' dependent party following the failure of launching any kind of movement, reports BSS.
"The people of the country are defying BNP even after the party's repeated call to participate in movement. So now, BNP is lobbying to the foreign diplomats," he added.
The minister was addressing a discussion meeting organised by Bangladesh Awami Sangskritik Forum (ASF) in front of Bangabandhu Bhaban to celebrate the 68th birthday of Prime Minister (PM) and Awami League (AL) president Sheikh Hasina.
Awami League Central Executive Committee Member Sujit Roy Nandi also spoke on the occasion with ASF president Sheikh Uzzal in the chair.
Mr Quader said BNP is now dreaming of interim election descending upon the European Union, United Nations and others foreigners, but it never come true.
