Jatiyatabadi Swechchh-asebak Dal, voluntary wing of BNP, Wednesday distributed pure drinking water among destitute people in some parts of the city, reports UNB.
BNP senior joint secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Almagir flanked by Swechchhasebak Dal president Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, general secretary Mir Sarafat Ali Sapu and Shafiul Bari Babu distributed the potable water among 2,000 people in the city's Lalbagh, Dayaganj Sweeper Colony and New Market areas.
DCC ward councillors Shahida Morshed and Shamsunnahar were also present.
