BNP forms coronavirus monitoring cell in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, May 09: The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has formed Chattogram Divisional Coronavirus Monitoring Cell to have a complete watch on the overall COVID-19 situation in Chattogram division.

The divisional coronavirus monitoring cell of BNP will be run by a 20-member committee led by its central Organising Secretary Mahabuber Rahman Shamim.

Other members of the committee include assistant organising secretaries Jalal Uddin Majumdar and Harun Ur Rashid, city BNP president and general secretary Dr Shahadat Hossain and Abul Hashem Bakkar, Bandarban BNP president and general Secretary Mamyaching and Javed Reja, Khagrachhari BNP president and general secretary Abdul Wadud Bhuyan and MN Absar and Cox's Bazar BNP president Shahajan Chowdhury and general secretary Advocate Shamim Ara Swapna.

The committee will monitor the coronavirus situation in the region and ensure proper relief distribution among the poor.
