BNP is an anti-people political party: Matia

Bangladesh Awami League (AL) presidium member Begum Matia Chowdhury on Saturday said BNP only believes in the politics of killing and it is an anti-peasant, anti-labor and anti-people political party, reports BSS.

"BNP believes in the politics of killing . . . It's an anti-peasant as well as anti-people political party," she told a rally of Bangladesh Krishak League (KL) in front of the Jatiya Press Club in the city on Saturday.

The KL, an associate body of ruling AL, organized the programme protesting the indecorous demands and death threats of BNP Jamaat-e-Islami terrorists against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and their anti-state conspiracies.

Matia said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has shown generosity to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia as she (Khaleda) was the lone prisoner in the world who enjoyed a very comfortable life in jail by keeping a maid servant there.
