BNP leader Annie on seven-day remand

The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court has placed BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie on a 7-day remand for his alleged involvement in vandalising and arson attacks on Bangladesh Television (BTV) during quota movement across the country on July 18, reports BSS.
Metropolitan Magistrate Shanta Akhter passed the order on Saturday after hearing both the sides as the police produced him before the court with a 10-day remand prayer.
